Detailed tour program
Start 10.00 am
Destination: Phnom Kulen National Park
Plan of trip:
Day 1.
11:00 am. Transportation Phnom Penh – Phnom Kulen National Park (5 hours)
Arriving to camp site at 5pm. Some sightseeing on the way. There is, also, waterfall, near campsite.
Staying at campsite at hammocks (I provide new hammock for everybody) and there are also three bamboo bungalows, without beds. Also you can stay at personal tent. I provide yoga mats, sleeping bag and blankets.
Short hiking to the nature jungle waterfall. Swimming at the waterfall.
Barbeque dinner at the campsite.
Day 2.
6:00 am. Wake up and breakfast.
7:00 am. Jungle trekking through uncharted terrain along a wild trail to unexplored by tourist waterfalls and caves.
Explorering the Mahendraparvata archeological excavation site. Site is closed for tourist. But we go with my special permit and rangers. We will get 12 km of hiking and see:
1. Elephant and lions statues
2. Huge cave Peoung Brocheu, meeting with magician hermits.
3. Pyramid Rong Chen, with quarry for stone extraction for Angkor temples construction
4. Peung Tbal. Prehistorical cave with hindu carvings
5. Some other many ancient ruins
We will see huge pre-angkorian statues in the jungle, hidden temple ruins, newly discovered pyramid Rung Chen, place of extraction and processing of Angkorian stones, the mysterious cave of the hermits Rishi's.
You can meet and talk to some Rishi, who lives in the cave at hidden Ashram.
17:00 pm. Dinner at the campsite.
Day 3.
7:00 am. Wake up and breakfast.
8:00 Explorering the Mahendraparvata archeological excavation site.
We will go to Phnom Kulen waterfall, 4thousands linga river, Wat Phreah ang Thom temple.
Hiking 5 km.
12.00 pm. Lunch and coming back to Phnom Penh (5 hours).
